KLONDIKE, CPO Army League HQ – This week has been full of ups and down for the armies. However, the most astonishing moment comes from the war this community’s been in for the past month. In a sudden change of events, the Club Penguin army community has seen an abrupt end to the Ice Warriors – Doritos war. Continue reading for more on the story!
The Club Penguin army community has witnessed, for the past month, intense cross-countering between the Ice Warriors Army and the Doritos. However, the official announcement about this cross-countering converting into an official war came from the Doritos Leader, Mustapha10. This is what Mustapha had to say:
We are officially entering the state of war. This means all able Doritos must fight for the Doritos Empire.
DEFCON 1 – In the recent days the IW & their allies have decided to joint invade us. Both armies invading us at the same time. Cowardly move most would say, and as a result the Doritos Empire hereby declares war. Harsh repercussions are coming to those who challenge us. The Doritos war machine has awaken. The flame has been lit, and the Doritos will march together to liberate all land that has been invaded.

Since the declaration of war on 10th April 2020, Ice Warriors and Doritos have been invading each other like a rapid-fire tournament round. You can read more about this war in my post which was published on 14th April 2020.
Moving forward, this cross-countering of both the Armies, backed by their respective allies came to an end last night when Andrew24, Ice Warriors Leader, posted the following announcement on Ice Warriors Discord channel:
Howdy Warriors! Going to try my best to update everyone on our current situation. A few hours ago both the Golds and us have decided to give all of our land away to smaller armies that aren’t able to capture their own land due to the sizes the armies on the map achieve. What this means is; the war is officially over. We’ve been battling DCP for over a month now winning over 25 battles and only losing 3. What a performance. We all played our part in this massive operation and ended up almost taking their ENTIRE nation. Our Ausia force stepped up and destroyed an entire alliance (IUA). We maxed the largest size in AUSIA times the CP Army Community has ever achieved. What an accomplishment. Our UK and US force was nothing to be messed with either, unbelievable sizes. Congratulations to everyone involved. None of this would’ve been possible without the countless amount of recruiters working the hardest they can each day. Iceyfeet and I cannot be more proud than we are at this moment. From now on we’ll be having massive events with our allies DW & Golds every now and then. Fun friendly banter, some cool events with each-other and a lot more to come. We’ll be bringing our entire discord back to life, with minigames hosted by Shinde, Kay & many others.
We will continue building the warrior community! I know that some of you will be disappointed about the war ending… but at this moment its getting to a point where it can become toxic for the younger crowd. That is not what I remade IW for. I remade IW to build a fun community, so people can interact and just relax with like minded individuals all interested in one game: Club Penguin Online. That is what we will be doing! I hope to speak with some of you more, now that the stress of war is off of everyones back.
As we read through Andrew’s statement, he makes it clear that Golds and Ice Warriors are more keen to helping small-medium armies which are emerging in the community. He further adds that this cross-firing with Doritos has been very intense and many troops gave themselves totally to this war. Andrew recollects that he had brought back Ice Warriors in order to create a fun and like-minded people community. Now that war is over, that’s exactly what Ice Warriors aim to do.
I would like to bring to your notice that due to limitation on my access to Doritos Army server, I was unable to fetch any announcement from their Discord. Nothing was posted or announced on Doritos website either. However, I managed to interview leaders of both the armies.
Interview with Rah, Doritos Leader
Question: Battle with the Ice Warriors was surely intense as we in the CP Army Community noticed it. How do you think it helped your army?
Rah: I think it helped in a positive way. We proved ourselves that DCP wouldn’t surrender without a good fight and we managed to turn out successful. It helped current troops what it’s like being in war, how to recruit effectively and create bonds with new members. It was surely an intense battle but it was definitely fun to experience. I’m pretty sure everyone involved learned something throughout this whole war.
Question: What do you think about Ice Warriors and Golds’ decision to share servers with smaller armies? I
Rah: l’ll be honest, I’m still confused as to why they did that. My best guess is that they wanted to make peace and potentially create neutral relationships with smaller armies. I find it quite generous that they decided to give out their servers, it must have been an interesting decision to make. This also gives a chance for smaller armies to make their way in the server map and a chance for them to invade and defend land nicely. Overall, I’m not sure what their intention was to give out their servers but it was a very nice gesture for them to do, I’m sure the smaller armies greatly appreciate it.
Question: Now that the war has finally ended and things are settled, how does your army plan to make your community a more interactive place?
Rah: The Doritos plans to create an even stronger bond with their members and host more fun events. We’d think it’d be a good idea to take a little break from the invasions and defenses to focus on more fun and interactive activities. We’d like to host more games, parties, fun themed events etc. and provide a fun place for troops to hangout and chill. Future events are still being discussed but I do hope these upcoming events will give more opportunities for members to participate in and have fun. I also hope to take this chance to chat with our members and get to know them even better. Our main priority is that DCP maintains a fun, positive reputation as well creating a fun space for all.
Question: What plans does your army hold for the future?
Rah: Honestly, I guess we will see and find out. We may have some ideas in mind but nothing particular yet. We do hope to provide a positive and fun place for everyone here. It’ll surely be a fun plan when we decide on one.
Question: Anything else you’d like to add?
Rah: Thank you to those who made this super exciting to experience. This has been the 2nd war I have ever participated in. I thoroughly enjoyed the amount of memes and constant jokes made during this. Family Forever

Keeping the Dorito sprit, Rah says that Doritos have showed the community that they don’t let go without a good fight. Surrender was not an option, at least without a fight. Furthermore, defining the Ice Warriors action according to their conscience, Rah says that the decision probably came in to maintain a peaceful relationship with smaller armies. As a Dorito leader, Rah also told us about how they plan to maintain a stronger bond with their troops by hosting games, etc. on the server.

Interview with Shinde, Ice Warriors Leader-in-Training
Question: Battle with the Doritos was surely intense as we in the CP Army Community noticed it. How do you think it helped your army?
Shinde: It was a crazy and busy time but everyone did their best! Army got many new members, the war system has been improved. Also I think bonds inside the army are much stronger. It is the higher level of friendship.
Question: What made your army decide to share servers with small armies?
Shinde: Every army deserves for own server and chance to protect it. It wouldn’t be fair if only major armies had their lands.
Question: Now that the war has finally ended and things are settled, how does your army plan to make your community a more interactive place?
Shinde: Like in the past we will make events and do practice battles on CPO with our friendly and loyal allies. Also we would like to host more parties inside the community, for example fashion contests, Card Jitsu & Sled Race Tournament or Day with Uno. In that case we are limited only by our imagination.
Question: What plans does your army hold for the future?
Shinde: Time will it show but for sure you will be hearing about Ice Warriors again!
Question: Anything else you’d like to add?
Shinde: Thank you that I could meet you, guys! You became the best e-family to me. Love you all and ice ice baby!
Describing the Ice Warriors stand on the war and their decision to transfer servers, Shinde says that Ice Warriors managed to recruit troops and the bonds inside the Ice Warriors are much stronger. The interesting part that everyone waited for is to the why Ice Warriors did what they did. Addressing that, Shinde said that every army deserves to own a server and a chance to protect that server. That’s the way to make the game fair, according to the Ice Warriors.
Similar to Doritos, Ice Warriors also plan to hold games, etc. for their troops to provide a relaxing environment.
Whatever it maybe, the war is finally war. The community has avoided a threatened World War which could divide us into two blocs, backed by allies. The escalation was avoided and peace has finally come to the Army Community!
