Ice Warriors: The Kings on Top?

On December 20th, 2019, Ice Warriors legend Andrew24 announced the return of the Ice Warriors. Recently, they’ve become one of the biggest and most consistent armies in the CPO community. The Ice Warriors have placed #1 in two straight CPO Army League Top Ten’s and appear to be the most dominant force in armies. As the community increasingly becomes more competitive, the question becomes of how long the Ice Warriors can continue this streak?

In March of 2019, the Ice Warriors began a war with the Doritos Army which led to both armies becoming increasingly stronger. Both armies have emerged as formidable foes in the CPO community and this rivalry has made both armies stronger because of it. In one of the greatest battles in Club Penguin Army history, the Doritos however did get the better of the Ice warriors and beat them in the March Madness tournament semifinal. Both armies reached sizes of above 160 and it was competitive down to the last minute. The Doritos emerged victorious leading to a showdown with the Dark Warriors of CPO.

The Dark Warriors and Ice Warriors vs Doritos and Pirates March Madness Finals will be a very interesting storyline to follow. Both sides should be evenly matched in terms of size. The Dark Warriors are currently smaller than the other three; however, the Ice Warriors remain as the biggest in the community and can make up for that. I expect this battle will be even better than what we have already seen.

Not only are the Ice Warriors, Dark Warriors, and Doritos very strong armies, the Light Troops and Pirates have become among the elite armies. Under the leadership of Epic101, Twaseen, and Bucky, the Pirates have consistently maxed above 100 on Club Penguin Online and are becoming a force to reckon in the community. Alongside the Pirates, the Light Troops average around 70-80 online and also are a competitive force. With so many big armies emerging around the community, Club Penguin Armies are entering a golden generation.

As of the latest Top Ten, there are nineteen armies in the CPO community. Along with armies mentioned above, Golds, UMA, SWAT, Aliens, and Redemption Force round out an impressive Top Ten. As a community, CPO Armies have begun a golden generation that has not been matched since the peak era of Club Penguin Armies. Some of these sizes have not been reached since the days of Boomer20’s Army of Club Penguin. As schools continue to shut down around the nation, the potential for growth in the community is incredible. As more people continue to join and expand our diverse community, armies will continue to grow and it will be interesting to see what army reaches the top of the Club Penguin Online community. With that comes the responsibility of uniting in this fight to grow as a community and we support other armies as they try to grow. There is no limit for how successful this community could be during the summer of 2020.
